Paxos Skin Care offers a luxurious blend of nourishing, effective skincare and a captivating unisex fragrance. Our products are crafted with organic and natural ingredients along with safe, active components designed to impart a radiant, vacation-like glow and a scent that complements the individual.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Paxos Skin Care is named after Paxos, the smallest island group within the Ionian Islands in Greece. Paxos, a tiny island of just 11 square miles, is the largest in the group. A place of beauty and mystery, the island is covered in ancient olive trees planted by the Venetians in the 14th century. Life is unhurried and the sea impossibly clear blue-green.

On a vacation in Paxos, inspired by the natural beauty surrounding her, Maggie, founder of Paxos Skin Care, decided to take her long-standing passion for skin care from dream to reality and create a skin care line. The line is full of natural and organic ingredients from the land and the sea made with a respect for the earth. When looking for a name for this new adventure, it was natural to name it after this special place where the idea was born - Paxos.

OUR ROOTS

Paxos is based in the Greater Portland region, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Known for its pioneer spirit, the region is filled with makers of all sorts, each with a unique point of view and love of the natural beauty around us. With roots here, we at Paxos look near and far for inspiration and ingredients.

Made in small batches, our skin care formulas feature natural, organic, wild-crafted, and select safe synthetic active ingredients that are vegan, cruelty-free and without added parabens or gluten, to give you the results you seek.

Skin, the largest organ of the human body, accounts for about 16% by weight of the average person’s body. Nourishing and protect our skin while avoiding harmful ingredients is important. Almost all products are packaged in glass jars and bottles to minimize negative impacts on our planet and our bodies. Glass is impermeable, non-porous and will not degrade over time and is 100% recyclable.
